Product Description

Introduction
RhizoN is rhizobium inoculant for legume crops seed treatment (e.g., beans, peas, lentils, peanuts, cowpea), with biological nitrogen fixing organisms Bradyrhizobium Sinorhizobium, form a symbiotic relationship with the roots of the plant, establishing nodules in which they multiply and fix atmospheric nitrogen.

Composition
Active Ingredient: Bradyrhizobium Sinorhizobium
Formulation Type: Both granular and liquid type are available
Concentration: Bradyrhizobium Sinorhizobium > 2 x 10^8 cfu/ml
Packaging: 500 ml / 1000 ml / 2000 ml per bottle

Storage
Keep stored in a cool and dark place, with a temperature range between 4°-25°C (40°-77°F). Avoid storing it in direct sunlight and keep it at floor level for better temperature control. It is also important to use the inoculant within 24 hours of opening it and to make sure it has been stored properly before use. Do not use an inoculant that is past its expiration date or that has not been stored properly.

Mode of Action
RhizoN nodulator inoculant for soybeans is a soil inhabiting bacteria capable of fixing atmospheric nitrogen compounds in symbiotic association with legumes. They host plants in all these cases have healthy appearance. RhizoN can trap 20-40 kilograms of nitrogen per hectare, reducing the need for synthetic fertilizers. This not only improves pulse crop productivity but also fixes nitrogen into the soil for subsequent crops.
To establish this relationship, the rhizobium bacteria must first colonize the roots of the legume plant. RhizoN attaches to legume roots and triggers the plant to form nodules. In the root nodules, the bacteria multiply and convert nitrogen from the air into a form that the plant can use for growth.

COMMON CROPS
Soybean, Groundnut, Red-gram, Green-gram, Black-gram, Lentil, Cow pea, Bengal-gram, Vetches, Faba Bean

Benefit
High levels of advanced rhizobium inoculant in a ready-to-use liquid formulation
Sterile production ensure more than 200 million rhizobium bacteria per ml
Improved plant health and higher yield potential
Ensure maximum nodulation and biological nitrogen fixation
Improve water retention
Boosts germination and root growth

Application Rate
Soil Application:
-  Horticulture apply 1 L/ ha, Apply every 4 weeks or as required
-  Broadacre (liquid inject at planting) apply 0.5 L/ ha at planting
Seed Treatment
-  Horticulture apply 5 mL/ kg of seed, just prior to planting
-  For large-scale application, treat seed with 2 liters / tonne of seed just before planting
Seedling treatment
-  Soak seedlings in a solution of 1 ml per L, just before planting

How to apply rhizobium inoculant
- Slurry Application:
- Mix 500 ml of the liquid inoculant with conditioner, Biostart, and dechlorinated water in a clean tank.
- Stir well until a lump-free slurry forms. Stir the slurry frequently to prevent it from settling.
- Pour the slurry onto the seeds and mix thoroughly to ensure even coating. Allow the seeds to dry completely before handling them further.
- The slurry is most effective when used within 24 hours of mixing. The temperature of the slurry should not exceed 20°C. Ensure the seeds are clean to prevent clumping.
- Wet inoculation method:
Mix 200 ml of the liquid inoculant directly with the damp seeds without the need for extra water. Stir thoroughly to ensure even coating of the inoculant. Make sure that you use a total of at least 326 ml of liquid to treat every 100 kg of seeds. This includes the RhizoN inoculant, any other seed treatment products, polymers, and colorants.
- Wet sequential method (also known as simultaneous): Use a separate application tank for the active chemicals/polymers/colorants (preferred).
- Using a separate application tank for the RhizoN inoculant and another tank for the active chemicals/polymers/colorants.
- Tank mix: Mix all the ingredients in one tank.
- To protect the rhizobium bacteria during application, water the soil lightly if it's exceptionally dry at planting time. When planting in tough conditions, like hot and dry fields, use more liquid inoculant.
