Bacillus pumilus powder can be applied in agriculture through various methods as following:
- Seedling treatment: Mix 100 gram with an appropriate amount of water and organic manure to form a slurry. The seedlings are dipped in this slurry for 30 minutes prior to planting to promote root growth and enhance nutrient uptake as biologic fertilizer.
- Soil application: Apply at a rate of 2-3 kg per hectare via irrigation, broadcasting, or banding. The best timing of application is 3 days before or when plantation for disease prevention or control
- Foliar application: Applied 2-3 mg per liter of water via foliar spray against foliar diseases.
